Beacon Hill Modern

I recently completed a new project in Beacon Hill with a client that has a keen eye for modern and contemporary design with interesting collections of Eastern Artifacts and wine. The goal of the project was to modernize the open plan living space, but in a thoughtful way that would respect the location and also provide him with a functional design. With a vast expanse of windows, we automated the shades to keep the modern design aesthetic. The custom design wall unit houses all of the media, precious artifacts, nostalgic pieces like the signed baseballs, along with family photography.

John Gonnella, a local South End artist painted two custom pieces for us for the project which added a great focal point in the den, as well as a little humor. Next time you're strolling around the some of the oldest buildings in the city here, you never know what may behind those traditional brownstone exteriors.

The row of small coffee tables keeps the coffee tables narrow
allowing an easy flow through the living area to the den and bedroom

Every bachelor and wine lover needs a
great bar set up.

The round custom designed dining table
keeps the flow open

The wall hung wall unit visually keeps
the space open and allows the gorgeous
rug to shine in the space

The den is dual purpose-An office with a sleeper

The master bedroom. Floor to ceiling drapery adds warmth
to the room and conceals one small windows behind
